Is there a way to search the directories on linux?
I have a list of directories, which are on my linux box.
I would like to have a script that would search through all of these directories and return a listing of the directories that contain a word in their names.
Any ideas?

You can use the find command with the -iname flag.
find /path/to/search -iname "*foo*"
Will find any files or directories with the name foo and will recursively descend down the path.
One of the last notable donors to a super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign was one of her top advisers, according to a new report.
“Bill and Hillary Clinton’s advisers have made significant contributions to Priorities USA Action, a pro-Hillary super PAC that has more than 60 staffers. The group plans to spend at least $150 million in the 2016 presidential election,” CNN reported on Friday.

The report notes that this summer, the former president and his wife’s longtime adviser, Jeff Leeds, “donated $5,000 to Priorities USA Action.” The super PAC raised a reported $56 million during the 2016 cycle, according to the report.
The New York Times’ report Friday noted that Priorities USA Action has become a more significant force in campaign politics since it was founded in January 2013. It spent $17 million in the 2014 cycle, $35 million in the 2016 cycle, and $48 million in the 2018 cycle.
Among its backers were former Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, Mark Halperin, and MSNBC’s Jonathan Alter. But the group has also backed political candidates such as Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, who was elected to the state’s Senate in 2017, and former New Mexico Gov.
